Hip-Hop Gets a Double Dose: Xlimkid and Kojo Trap Release “No More”
Fast-rising hip-hop artiste Henry Boakye who goes by the stage name “Xlimkid” has teamed up with Ghanaian highlife and hip-hop performer Kojo Trap to drop a new banger titled “No More”.
Juiczx, Jumaar, and Bookah were the producers of the song that was released on Friday, February 16, 2024.
The song describes his musical career being hindered by his life experiences being distracted and by the urge not to trust humans in general.
Xlimkid revealed in a recent interview with GNA Entertainment that personal tragedies, hardships, and betrayals from others served as inspiration for his music.
He said the song demonstrated Kojo Trap’s versatility by combining uplifting lyrics with infectious rhythms, appealing to listeners of all backgrounds.
The intricacies of achieving success in a world full of diversions and the constant struggle to determine who to trust were explored by Kojo Trap and Xlimkid.
Xlimkid encouraged all up-and-coming artists to stay strong, keep going, and take risks if they want to be successful.
“Everyone should persevere through the hardships until they achieve their goals,” he emphasised.
He mentioned that he doesn’t have any projects in the works, but he urged his fans to stay hopeful.
The Ghanaian music industry, he added, was flourishing thanks to the attention it was receiving around the world, and things would only get better from here on out.
He encouraged the young people to follow their passions, be themselves, and never settle for mediocrity.
